After nearly a month of having its waters off limits, Meade State Lake is open again for fishing and boating. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded regulations that placed the lake off limits to fishing, boating and swimming last Friday, but swimming is still not allowed. After nearly a month of having its waters off limits, Meade State Lake is open again for fishing and boating. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded regulations that placed the lake off limits to fishing, boating and swimming last Friday, but swimming is still not allowed.
