Uses: A Clinch Knot is regarded as a superbly helpful knot for anglers that provides a good method of securing fishing line to a hook, lure or swivel. In this video you can see the "improved" version of the popular Clinched Knot. The improved version includes an extra tuck under the final turn. The knot is highly capable to fasten the leader to the fly. But one has to remember that if you are using over 12lb test line, then this knot is not recommendable.
