Fairly Comical!

On last Saturday I caught a 6 lb 8 oz 23” large mouth bass. I am feeling a bit happier as I used an ISG Clappers Magic, 4” Dream Tube from in 12 feet of water 20 yards from shore to catch this fish. I went to this place for the second time. First time I had my family with me but this time I was alone on this fishing trip.

The event was fairly comical. I was in the boat and already had passed about 2 uneventful hours. And the rod I was using was also bugging me as it comes with a drag mechanism. And undoubtedly this rod is a children’s bait. After that long awaiting the fish took the bait, but I wasn’t sure what was happening. The fish started running out line and I was certain that I had just hooked an attack submarine.

Soon I lost the ability to reel due to the drag problem of my rod. The rod then suddenly got separated. After much hassle I put it back together and gathered the excess line, which was now all over the boat. Finally somehow I managed to get back to my terms with the fish and the rod. I manually dragged it and it was truly feeling like am fighting with a whale. At last it came to the surface and I came out with the most sinister laugh when I realized what I had caught.
